What you pay for, and what's free
- The exam: $125 USD per attempt.
- Claude Partner Network membership: free for organizations bringing Claude to market.
- Anthropic's official prep courses on the Partner Academy: free.
- On-time renewal after 12 months: free (how renewal works).
- A lapsed credential: the full exam again, at the full fee.
Retake waiting periods
- After a 1st attempt that doesn't pass: wait 14 days.
- After a 2nd: wait 30 days.
- After a 3rd: wait 90 days.
You can sit the exam at most four times in a rolling 12 months. The limits apply per exam, so not passing this one doesn't stop you registering for a different Claude certification.
Ways to lose the fee
- Cancelling or rescheduling inside 24 hours of the appointment.
- Not showing up, or arriving after the late-arrival window.
- Declining the confidentiality agreement at the start of the exam: the session ends with no refund.
